Managed Hosting

Get the convenience of a managed dedicated server, but the freedom to choose your own hardware specification and supplier.

24/7 monitoring of your server. Our staff we get notified directly if your server goes offline, and we'll bring it back up.
RAID monitoring and repair. We'll install ilmdaiwtki (I Like My Data And I Want To Keep It), a daemon that we wrote that monitors your RAID array much more thoroughly than a normal raid controller. When we find a broken disk we'll replace it for you and monitor the raid array throughout the rebuild.
We'll manage your hardware onsite warranty. If the unthinkable happens and your server fails with a hardware failure, we'll contact the manufacturer and arrange for them to fix it under your onsite warranty. We'll deal directly with them in arranging data centre access, shipping spare parts and anything else required to get you back up and running quickly.
Essential security updates. We'll keep the operating system supplied packages up to date from any serious remote security holes, although if anything is disruptive we'll negotiate the best time to upgrade it with you.
Monitoring. Our text message monitoring system is included free of charge.
Advice. Any question you like we'll have a go at answering and work with your system administrators to get you to the solution you need.

Pricing is £50 per month, or £500 per year if paid annually. Managed services are available on Colocation, Mac Minis, and Apple TV hosting.
