Open technologies
Open source software is at the heart of everything we do. We provide managed services on open source applications as it prevents the lock-in that comes with most software-as-a-service, and we use open source software extensively throughout our hosting platforms and infrastructure.
We actively support Sympl – an easy to use platform for self-hosting websites and email on Linux – as well as a wide range of other open source projects.

We never charge transfer-out fees or do anything to make it hard to cancel. We believe in retaining customers through good service, not sharp practices.
