Billing periods
Most of our services are available on monthly, quarterly or annual billing. Some services are also available on an on-demand basis, with per-second billing.
This does not include domain registrations (see below).
For most services, we offer the following discounts for longer billing periods:
- Annual billing costs the same as 10 months.
- A year of quarterly billing costs the same as 11 months.
Switching between billing periods
You can switch between billing periods by emailing support with details of the change you want to make.
Changing billing date
If you would prefer to be billed on a different date, or if you have multiple services with different billing dates and would like to align them, please contact support
Cancelling services
You can set services to cancel at the end of their current billing period using the Services page on the control panel. You can also cancel annual and quarterly services mid-term by giving 30 days notice by email to support. In this case, we will credit any unused hosting period. Please note that this does not apply if a minimum initial commit was specified at the time of purchase.
On-demand services
Our VPS and Raspberry Pi services are also available on an on-demand basis with per-second billing. These services can be provisioned and cancelled at any time. This billing option is a bit more expensive than an equivalent monthly service.
On-demand services require you to have stored payment details on your account. This can be either a credit card, or a Direct Debit.
Domain registrations
The billing period for domain registrations is set by the registry, and is usually one or more years. Unfortunately, we cannot change the renewal date for domain registrations.
